The Landlord and tenant team handle a wide range of lease related enquiries regarding lease renewal and rent review. The team is experienced in working with our occupiers, the District Valuer’s Office, the NHS and other Health and property professionals. The team also oversees the landlords building’s insurance policy and claim procedures.
Meet the team
Oliver is a Chartered Surveyor, who joined Nexus following the all-share merger with the MedicX Fund in March 2019 and now leads the rent review and valuation team. Oliver has worked on the MedicX Fund at Octopus Healthcare as an Asset Manager since 2017 and prior to this he was a surveyor at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Oliver graduated in Property Development at the University of Portsmouth in 2011 and obtained a Masters Degree in Management from the University of St Andrews in 2012.

Kay’s main role is to support the rent review and valuation team across the PHP portfolio. This includes liaising with tenants and agents, as well as maintaining the property database and preparing rent review memorandums. Kay has previous experience within the property industry, working alongside sales, rental and property managers and acting as main point of contact for tenants and landlords.

is seeking to become a Chartered Surveyor, who joined Nexus in March 2020 and
is responsible for dealing with rent reviews across the UK. Prior to this he
worked at NHS Property Services. He graduated in Biomedical Science from
Middlesex University in 2013 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Real Estate
from the University of Westminster in 2017.
Sarah joined Nexus in August 2017 and is responsible for dealing with rent reviews across the PHP Fund. Prior to this Sarah has worked at Shelley Sandzer, Kitchen La Fremais Morgan, NB Real Estate and Lloyds Pharmacy. Sarah is a Chartered Surveyor with over 14 years of experience in landlord and tenant, leasing and asset management throughout the UK. She graduated in Business Property Management from Sheffield Hallam University in 2006.

Maybush Medical Centre, Wakefield
The surgery was built in 1997 and is located within 2 miles of Wakefield Town centre. PHP worked alongside the GPs and the Clinical Commissioning Group in Wakefield to deliver a refurbished surgery that would be fit-for-purpose for the next 20 years and addressed the needs of the staff and patients alike. The works incorporated environmental improvements to assist with the reduction in the building’s carbon footprint and running costs and were carefully managed to minimise disruption to the surgery, its staff and patients.
The works included refurbishing consulting rooms and waiting areas with a new reception desk, a new interview room and a baby changing room, and an enlarged meeting room.
