David joined the Nexus team in August 2016 and oversees the investment, asset management, landlord and tenant and property management teams at Nexus who advise Primary Health Properties PLC. David is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years' post qualified experience with Jones Lang LaSalle, Lasalle, Axa, LandSec and MWB.

David has considerable industry experience having worked in the listed and unlisted sectors, with all property types, tenures, lot sizes and location. He has also worked closely with occupiers and landlords to adopt new concepts and innovations having run and helped build a premium serviced office brand and introduced award winning sustainability technology to the UK and European real estate markets.

David sits on the British Property Federation Primary Health Care Committee.

Alastair originally joined Nexus in June 2006 on a year long “sandwich” placement from Sheffield Hallam University. He rejoined in June 2008 after gaining a 2:1 in BSc Business Property Management and went on to become a Chartered Surveyor in May 2011. Alastair develops and manages in-house development and value enhancement initiatives for PHP PLC.

James is an Asset Manager within the asset management team, advising Primary Health Properties as part of the Nexus Group. In this role, James works primarily with the existing portfolio of healthcare assets to finance property improvements to solve property challenges while ensuring assets are fit for purpose. Previous to this, James spent five years with Strutt & Parker LLP within the consultancy department, providing investment, asset and property management advice to a range of private and institutional clients. James is a Chartered Surveyor with four years post qualified experience and has BSc (Hons) and MSc related real estate qualifications.

Edwina is an Asset Manager within the asset management team, advising Primary Health Properties as part of the Nexus Group. In this role Edwina works primarily with the existing portfolio of healthcare assets to finance property improvements to resolve property challenges while ensuring assets are fit for purpose. She is a Chartered Surveyor with over 11 years’ experience in Asset Management, Property Management and Development of Primary Care facilities throughout the UK. Edwina previously worked for Bolt Asset Management on the GPG portfolio of primary healthcare assets on behalf of Blackrock Investment UK covering the North of England, North Wales and Scotland providing investment and asset management advice to the investment fund. Edwina gained her BA Honours degree in Politics and Economics from Reading University and furthered her education through a long distance Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management before gaining her MRICS status.
