The centre was purchased from Haven Health Properties in May 2008. The accommodation provides Primary Care services for the Cullompton and greater area. In addition to the Primary Care Trust, the property will house its service provision from the Cullompton Health Centre (10 GPs), with a large part of the building occupied by the College Surgery Partnership. A health food café, physic garden and pharmacy run by Alliance Boots is also on site.

The idea is to bring together community primary care services and the college surgery partnership under one roof, creating a 'one stop shop' approach for the local health service.
