Harry Hyman

Managing Director

Appointed February 1996. Mr Hyman is Managing Director of Nexus Group Holdings Limited, the holding company for a group of companies engaged in the provision of independent advice and financial services to organisations operating in the public and private sectors with particular emphasis on health and property, and of which Nexus Tradeco Limited is a subsidiary. He is also a non-executive director of a number of other companies including General Medical Clinics PLC.

Phil Holland ACA

Finance Director and Deputy Managing Director

Phil joined the Nexus team in November 2010. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of Natixis Capital Partners Limited, a private equity real estate fund manager, overseeing the Captiva family of funds, invested in commercial real estate across Western Europe. Phil was also CFO of Atlas Estates Limited, a closed ended Guernsey investment company listed on AIM which was formed to invest in and develop property opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to that Phil held board positions with both public and private property investment, development and fund management companies. Phil is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), holds an Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and is based in the London Office.

Tim Walker-Arnott BSc FRICS

Property Director

Tim joined Nexus in January 2006. He has over 30 years experience as a Chartered Surveyor having worked in Fund Management, Development, Property Financing and Asset Management. He was previously a property director at NHP Plc. Based at the Woking office he has overall responsibility for the acquisition and management of the PHP portfolio.

Gemma Berrie MSc MRICS

Investment Acquisitions Manager

Gemma joined Nexus in December 2012. She is a qualified member of the RICS. She previously worked at CBRE for over five years providing valuation, acquisition/disposal and development advice in specialist property sectors, including healthcare. Gemma is responsible for the acquisition of investment and forward funding opportunities.

Andrew Birch MRICS

Asset Manager

Andrew joined Nexus in February 2007. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors of over 16 years standing and has extensive experience of property management, acquisition, disposal and development throughout the UK for national retailers and in the healthcare sector. He is responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the PHP property portfolio.

Alastair Barlow BSc (Hons) MRICS

Property & Development Manager

Alastair originally joined Nexus in June 2006 on a year long 'sandwich' placement from Sheffield Hallam University. He rejoined in June 2008 after gaining a 2.1 in BSc Business Property Management, and went on to pass his RICS exam becoming a Chartered Surveyor in May 2011. Alastair assists with both the management, in-house development and acquisition of properties for PHP Plc.

Jackie Denney

Property Administrator

Jackie joined Nexus in March 2009. She has over 10 years property management experience having previously worked for various property companies including Jones Lang LaSalle. Jackie is responsible for database management and rent collection.

Satteta Virdi BSc (Hons)

Assistant Surveyor

Satteta recently joined Nexus in August 2011 as an Assistant Surveyor, after gaining a 2.1 BSc Hons in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. She works alongside Andrew Birch on property management issues and disposals of the PHP Property Portfolio and is currently working towards her RICS exam to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Luke Bugden BSc (Hons)

Assistant Surveyor

Luke joined Nexus in September 2012, having gained a 2.1 BSc Honours degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. He works within the property team and assists with the management of the existing stock and acquisitions of properties for the PHP portfolio. Luke is currently studying towards the RICS APC qualification to become a Chartered Surveyor.
